Acoustic simulation
The acoustic simulation activity was born due to the need of testing our acoustic processing systems.
The CHRISAR Team developed the concept of
additive sound synthesis which allows the adding of real-time contextual sounds of an acoustic situation of an evolutionary scenario:
- Taking into account dynamic noise aspects according to configurable appearance rules,
- Taking into account stationary and transient noises,
- Adaptive settings (mixer, equalizer),
- Open software interface connectable to a larger simulation system,
- Audio output signal in digital or analog form, which can be used directly by an acoustic processing system.
This concept is perfectly suited for the production of
underwater acoustic and
air acoustic simulation systems.
