Air Acoustics
The signal processing tools and methods developed by CHRISAR for underwater acoustics have been successfully transposed and adapted to air acoustics. This allows the team of engineers at CHRISAR to satisfy new customer needs as diverse as:
- Quality control of a high pressure rotary pump through non-intrusive acoustic analysis (Ref. PSA Peugeot Citroën),
- Reconstruction of an engine speed band using an acoustic recording (Ref. Renault),
- Analysis of the voice recorder of an airplane cockpit (Cockpit Voice Recorder - CVR) to help understand the causes of an accident (Ref. BEA),
- Identifying bonding defects of a surface by friction and acoustic analysis of the noise generated (Ref. Nuclear EDF).
