The engineers and doctors from the CHRISAR Signal Processing Department have been developing for over thirty years their expertise in underwater acoustics within the military naval sector. Over the years this skill has expanded to cover aerial acoustics and used in civil applications.

CHRISAR, recognised as a leader in its field, positions itself on all aspects of Acoustic Signal Processing:

• Study of sound sources : Acquisition, Processing, Analysis, Measurement, Identification and Classification.

• Noise propagation : understanding propagation laws of underwater acoustics and sonar equation.

• Sound simulation : generating soundscapes, scenarios and signal generation in accordance to the reality of the different sensors (hydrophones, sonars and antennas, microphones, human ear, etc...).
