CHRISAR, voted the most active company of the 2014 edition on the MAST network, encountered much success with the presentation of its latest simulation products (CHRISAR-SIM range) and underwater geo-location beacon (ABSYS-1000).

CHRISAR and Souffleurs d’Écume, co- developers of the system will present REPCET^© at an official conference in the Monaco Yacht Show.
REPCET^© is extending its network for limiting the risks of collisions with whales to the luxury yacht market to densify the number of cetacean sightings.
Many owners who have expressed their interest will be attending the conference.
We hope this will bring many new subscriptions to the system, to the delight of marine mammals ... and scientists!

GAZOCEAN, operator of LNG tankers, a subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Group and NYK Line is getting involved in limiting the risk of collisions with whales by subscribing its ship "GDF SUEZ ENERGY GLOBAL" to the REPCET^© system developed and operated by CHRISAR in partnership with the NGO Souffleurs d’Écume.
We wish them many detections of cetaceans thus many avoided collisions!

CHRISAR will be on the Pôle Mer PACA stand and will premiere its new task trainer for maritime patrollers.

LA MERIDIONALE, one of the oldest shipowners from Marseille, provides daily service to Corsica and a twice weekly service to Sardinia for passenger and cargo transport. The company, involved since the beginning of the REPCET^© project in limiting the risk of collisions with whales, alongside CHRISAR and Souffleurs d’Écume, is the first shipowner to subscribe its entire fleet to the REPCET^© network.

ABYSSEA, founded on 19th November 2010, is responsible for the design, studies, manufacture, assembly, installation and operation of underwater testing and demonstration stations. Its R&D activities will underpin development and continued quality of service. The centre will consist of two underwater platforms, at depths of 1,300 and 2,400 metres respectively, providing broadband communications and up to several hundred kW of electricity. The platforms will open up major perspectives for the offshore oil and gas industries. With the aid of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and a core group of SMEs (including CHRISAR), the PACA Marine Cluster was successful with its response to the government/CDC call for projects involving technology innovation platforms. ABYSSEA’s CEEMP will be a world first, unparalleled of its kind, used to trial equipment and procedures for the exploration and exploitation of the deep offshore environment, with the aim of improving safety and contributing to the sustainable development of resources.
